Community groups awarded over £3,000 by Loddon Valley Lions Club

Tadley-based Loddon Valley Lions Club donated more than £3,000 to different local groups and projects at its annual ‘Lions Den’ event.

The event took place at the Ambrose Allen Centre in Tadley on October 7 and its aim was to provide funding to local enterprise, creative ideas and proposals which inspired the club committee.

The Hurst School PTA and Burnham Copse PTA were awarded £940 and £500 respectively for SEN development.

Tadley Citizens Advice was given £500 for refurbishment, Baughurst Repair Café received £500 for equipment and The Olibob Arts Foundation was awarded £500 towards sponsoring a pupil.

Loddon Valley Lions also pledged £250 towards hosting the Guiding Across the World Jamboree in the UK next year.
