4 LEGS Radio celebrates five years serving the Lambourn Valley

An established community radio station celebrated turning five at the end of last week.

4 LEGS Radio presents live shows every Friday for listeners across the Lambourn Valley in Lambourn, Eastbury, East Garston and Great Shefford.

But on Friday, April 14, station manager Chris Capel took time out of his busy recording schedule to mark the special anniversary with a small gathering at his Eastbury home studio.

A host of guests joined in the celebrations — which included a cake — consisting of fellow presenters, previous guests, local parish councillors and other supporters.

Mr Capel is still buzzing from the occasion.

"It went really well," he said. "We had a really good day and we had around 25-30 people there."

The celebrations ran for couple hours from 10.15am, after which time it was back to work.

Mr Capel and his team sincerely thank all their listeners, sponsors and guests for all their support over the past five years.
