This means that no trains are able to stop at Pangbourne.

GWR said that any customers from Didcot Parkway, Cholsey or Goring & Streatley stations who want to get to Pangbourne will need to go through to Tilehurst and then travel back one stop on a westbound service.

Passengers at Pangbourne who wish to get to Tilehurst, Reading or onto London will need to go west to Goring & Streatley and change there for a train to London Paddington.

“Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause,” the train operator added.

It said disruption is expected until around 8.30am.
