Newbury company collects presents for children’s refuge charity




A company has helped collect Christmas presents for underprivileged children.

IWG PLC’s Newbury branch, based at Oxford House, has worked in partnership with the KidsOut charity to ensure children who were not otherwise due to receive any presents did this Christmas.

In 2022, IWG raised £55,000 and donated more than 4,000 physical toys to KidsOut over Christmas.

A company spokesperson said: “The feedback from the local community has been quite amazing and it’s been a pleasure to help run the campaign and see just how much people are willing to give back.”

Its Just Giving Tree had already received more than 500 presents before the Christmas holiday.

The charity provides refuge for vulnerable children, many of whom have escaped domestic violence.

Charity representatives collected the presents on Wednesday, December 20.
