Step back in time at 1940s Week at Basingstoke’s Milestones Museum

This half term, Milestones Museum in Basingstoke is inviting visitors to take a step back in time to the 1940s with fun activities for all ages.

From Saturday, May 27 to Sunday, June 4, visitors to the living history museum, operated by Hampshire Cultural Trust, can enjoy demonstrations and talks, historic objects, live performances, a trail and much more on the streets of Milestones.

Throughout the week there will be daily demonstrations and talks - from an ARP recruitment drive and Make Do and Mend to learning all about 1940s cookery.
