Coronavirus West Berkshire: confirmed cases as of August 18, 2021




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 9,560 – an increase of 85 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population to August 13 is 246.1, with 390 cases in the seven days to August 13.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 221,979 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of August 17.

The first dose total is 118,075, while 103,904 people in the district have received a second dose.

Nationally, 47,413,242 people have received a first vaccine dose as of August 17, with 40,987,846 having had a second dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 6,355,887 with the daily total at 33,904.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 131,260.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 111.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 154,811 as of Friday, August 6.
