Coronavirus West Berkshire: Confirmed cases as of August 7, 2021

The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 8,950 – an increase of 64 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population to August 2 is 210.1, with 333 cases in the seven days to August 2.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 216,643 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of August 6.

The first dose total is 117,649, while 98,994 people in the district have received a second dose.

Nationally, 46,997,495 people have received a first vaccine dose as of August 6, with 39,210,356 having had a second dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 6,042,252 with the daily total at 28,612.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 130,281.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 103.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 153,734 as of Friday, July 23.
