Coronavirus West Berkshire: Confirmed cases as of July 21, 2021




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 8,069 – an increase of 71 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population to July 16 is 349.6, with 554 cases in the seven days to July 16.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 206,972 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of July 20.

The first dose total is 116,662, while 90,310 people in the district have received a second dose.

Nationally, 46,388,744 people have received a first vaccine dose as of July 20, with 36,404,566 having had a second dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 5,563,006, while the daily number of lab-confirmed cases is 44,104.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 128,823.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 73.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 153,070 as of Friday, July 9.
