Coronavirus West Berkshire: confirmed cases as of October 21, 2021

The number of lab-confirmed cases in West Berkshire is now 14,839 – an increase of 232 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 754.7, with 1,196 cases in the seven days to October 16.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 240,931 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of October 20.

The first dose total is 124,918, while 116,013 people in the district have received a second dose.

Nationally, 49,554,407 people have received a first vaccine dose as of October 20, with 45,460,122 having had a second dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 8,641,221, with the daily total at 52,009.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 139,146.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 115.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 162,620 as of Friday, October 8.
