Coronavirus West Berkshire: confirmed cases as of October 5, 2021

The number of lab-confirmed cases in West Berkshire is now 12,677 – an increase of 40 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 213.9, with 339 cases in the seven days to September 30.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 236,980 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of October 4.

The first dose total is 121,773, while 115,207 people in the district have received a second dose.

Nationally, 48,994,530 people have received a first vaccine dose as of October 4, with 45,021,381 having had a second dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 7,967,985, with the daily total at 33,869.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.
