Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of January 21




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 31,196 an increase of 262 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 840.6, with 1,332 cases in the seven days to January 16.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 352,883 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of January 20.

The first dose total is 130,235, while 153,712 people in the district have received a second dose, and 100,645 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

Nationally, 52,186,398 people have received a first vaccine dose as of January 20, with 48,082,636 having had a second dose and 36,753,644 having had a booster or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 15,709,059 with the daily total at 95,787.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 153,490.
