Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of April 5




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 47,687 - an increase of 157 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 1,023.6 with 1,622 cases in the seven days to April 1.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 361,521 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of April 3.

The first dose total is 130,727, while 125,713 people in the district have received a second dose, and 105,081 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

Nationally, 52,837,997 people have received a first vaccine dose as of April 4, with 49,488,642 having had a second dose and 38,881,391 having had a booster or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 21,410,305.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 166,148.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 187,929 as of Friday, March 25.
