Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of December 15

The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 21,543 – an increase of 172 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 557.9, with 884 cases in the seven days to December 10.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 311,729 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of December 14.

The first dose total is 128,810, while 118,898 people in the district have received a second dose, and 64,021 people have received a booster dose.

Nationally, 51,332,920 people have received a first vaccine dose as of December 14, with 46,842,497 having had a second dose and 24,732,162 having had a booster dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 11,010,286, with the daily total at 78,610.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 146,791.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 165.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 170,911 as of Friday, December 3.
