Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of December 18




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 22,172 – an increase of 198 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 596.3, with 945 cases in the seven days to December 13.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 318,322 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of December 17.

The first dose total is 128,948, while 119,138 people in the district have received a second dose, and 70,236 people have received a booster dose.

Nationally, 51,425,763 people have received a first vaccine dose as of December 17, with 46,965,009 having had a second dose and 27,156,276 having had a booster dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 11,279,428, with the daily total at 90,418.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 147,173.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 125.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 170,911 as of Friday, December 3.
