Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of December 19




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 22,395 – an increase of 223 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 665.8, with 1,055 cases in the seven days to December 14.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 322,106 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of December 18.

The first dose total is 129,008, while 119,222 people in the district have received a second dose, and 73,876 people have received a booster dose.

Nationally, 51,463,255 people have received a first vaccine dose as of December 18, with 47,009,608 having had a second dose and 28,060,874 having had a booster dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 11,361,387, with the daily total at 82,886.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 147,218.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 45.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 170,911 as of Friday, December 3.
