Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of December 20

The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 22,649 – an increase of 254 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 730.1, with 1,157 cases in the seven days to December 15.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 325,222 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of December 19.

The first dose total is 129,062, while 119,300 people in the district have received a second dose, and 76,860 people have received a booster dose.

Nationally, 51,498,034 people have received a first vaccine dose as of December 19, with 47,051,876 having had a second dose and 28,978,244 having had a booster dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 11,453,121, with the daily total at 91,743.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 147,261.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 44.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 170,911 as of Friday, December 3.
