Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of December 23




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 23,360 – an increase of 221 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 924.5, with 1,465 cases in the seven days to December 18.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 331,457 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of December 22.

The first dose total is 129,248, while 119,625 people in the district have received a second dose, and 82,584 people have received a booster dose.

Nationally, 51,617,091 people have received a first vaccine dose as of December 22, with 47,210,053 having had a second dose and 31,684,926 having had a booster dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 11,769,921, with the daily total at 119,789.
