Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of February 28




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 39,666 - an increase of 62 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 537 with 851 cases in the seven days to February 23.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 359,483 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of February 27.

The first dose total is 130,719, while 124,890 people in the district have received a second dose, and 103,874 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

Nationally, 52,628,660 people have received a first vaccine dose as of February 27, with 49,000,222 having had a second dose and 38,211,911 having had a booster or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 18,886,701 with the daily total at 82,451.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 161,361.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 752

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 182,609 as of Friday, February 11.

From the week of February 21, the UK Health Security Agency stopped publishing dashboard updates at weekends.

Daily cases and deaths published on Mondays include figures from the preceding weekend. These will not be separated out to show daily figures for Saturday and Sunday.
