Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of Friday, September 3




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 10,869 – an increase of 132 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population to August 28 is 308.6, with 489 cases in the seven days to August 29.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 231,602 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of September 2.

The first dose total is 121,107, while 110,495 people in the district have received a second dose.

Nationally, 48,171,998 people have received a first vaccine dose as of September 2, with 43,142,747 having had a second dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 6,904,969, with the daily total at 42,076.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 133,041.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 121.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 156,119 as of Friday, August 20.
