Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed figures as of January 5
The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 27,342 – an increase of 308 in the last 24 hours.
West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 1,359.9, with 2,155 cases in the seven days to December 31.
The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.
The Government dashboard says that 343,859 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of January 4.
The first dose total is 129,637, while 120,465 people in the district have received a second dose, and 93,757 people have received a booster dose or third dose.
Nationally, 51,845,518 people have received a first vaccine dose as of January 4, with 47,523,676 having had a second dose and 34,586,810 having had a booster or third dose.
The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 13,835,334, with the daily total at 194,747.
The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.
The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 149,284.
