Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of January 26




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 32,380 - an increase of 280 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 1,017.9, with 1,613 cases in the seven days to January 22.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 354,834 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of January 24.

The first dose total is 130,406, while 123,015 people in the district have received a second dose, and 101,413 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

Nationally, 52,265,883 people have received a first vaccine dose as of January 25, with 48,252,782 having had a second dose and 37,048,033,936 having had a booster or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 16,149,319 with the daily total at 102,292.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 154,702.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 346.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 176,813 as of Friday, January 14, 2022.
