Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of June 1




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 50,075, an increase of 16 since May 31.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 72.6 with 115 cases in the last seven days.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 364,997 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of May 31.

The first dose total is 131,591 while 126,932 people in the district have received a second dose, and 106,474 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 22,238,713.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 177,977.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 195,962 as of Friday, May 20.
