Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of March 2




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 39,905 - an increase of 113 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 477.1 with 761 cases in the seven days to February 24.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 359,566 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of March 1.

The first dose total is 130,728, while 124,907 people in the district have received a second dose, and 103,931 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

Nationally, 52,640,258 people have received a first vaccine dose as of March 1, with 49,029,528 having had a second dose and 38,258,018 having had a booster or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 19,029,321 with the amount of people testing positive in the last seven days at 236,334.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 161,704.

The number of deaths in the last seven days is 651.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 183,579 as of Friday, February 18.
