Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of November 8, 2021

The number of lab-confirmed cases in West Berkshire is now 16,883 – an increase of 90 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 438.6, with 695 cases in the seven days to November 3.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 243,232 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of November 7.

The first dose total is 126,702, while 116,530 people in the district have received a second dose.

Nationally, 50,262,735 people have received a first vaccine dose as of November 7, with 45,852,677 having had a second dose and 10,302,544 having had a third, or booster, dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 9,333,891, with the daily total at 32,322.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 141,862.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 57.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 164,491 as of Monday, November 8
