Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed cases as of Wednesday, September 22




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 12,040 – an increase of 40 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population to September 17 is 174.2, with 276 cases in the seven days to September 17.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 236,227 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of September 21.

The first dose total is 121,726, while 114,501 people in the district have received a second dose.

Nationally, 48,644,692 people have received a first vaccine dose as of September 21, with 44,556,005 having had a second dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 7,530,560, with the daily total at 34,460.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 135,621.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 166.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 158,664 as of Friday, September 10.
