Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed figures as of January 10




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 28,788 – an increase of 177 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 1,498.8, with 2,375 cases in the seven days to January 5.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 348,794 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of January 9.

The first dose total is 129,796, while 120,876 people in the district have received a second dose, and 98,122 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

Nationally, 51,974,605 people have received a first vaccine dose as of January 9, with 47,718,730 having had a second dose and 35,664,164 having had a booster or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 14,617,314, with the daily total at 142,224.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 150,230.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 77.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 173,509 as of Monday, January 10.
