Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed figures as of January 11

The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 28,982 – an increase of 194 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 1,421.8, with 2,253 cases in the seven days to January 6.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 349,177 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of January 10.

The first dose total is 129,822, while 120,971 people in the district have received a second dose, and 98,384 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

Nationally, 51,992,559 people have received a first vaccine dose as of January 10, with 47,745,458 having had a second dose and 35,813,659 having had a booster or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 14,732,594 with the daily total at 120,821.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 150,609.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 379.
