Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed figures as of January 15




The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 29,839 – an increase of 184 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 1,149.8, with 1,822 cases in the seven days to January 10.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 351,095 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of January 14.

The first dose total is 130,042, while 121,776 people in the district have received a second dose, and 99,277 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

Nationally, 52,071,960 people have received a first vaccine dose as of January 14, with 47,866,176 having had a second dose and 36,295,786 having had a booster or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 15,147,120 with the daily total at 81,713.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 151,899.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 287.

The number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate is 174,233 as of Friday, December 31, 2021.
