Coronavirus West Berkshire: latest confirmed figures as of January 17

The number of lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in West Berkshire is now 30,183 - an increase of 183 in the last 24 hours.

West Berkshire's seven-day rolling rate per 100,000 population is 909.3, with 1,441 cases in the seven days to January 12.

The rate is calculated by dividing the seven-day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

The Government dashboard says that 352,144 vaccinations have been given in West Berkshire as of January 16.

The first dose total is 130,142, while 121,961 people in the district have received a second dose, and 100,041 people have received a booster dose or third dose.

Nationally, 52,117,863 people have received a first vaccine dose as of January 16, with 47,963,133 having had a second dose and 36,473,316 having had a booster or third dose.

The total number of lab-confirmed cases in the UK is now 15,305,410 with the daily total at 84,429.

The daily reported Covid-19 deaths are measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive test.

The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the UK within 28 days of a positive test is 152,075.

The daily number of deaths within the 28-day range is 85.
