Could West Berkshire be about to get some snow?
After a week of lovely spring sunshine, West Berkshire could be about to get some snow.
Temperatures plummeted overnight, following a week of bright sunshine and above average highs.
But it became increasingly cloudy overnight and that theme continues this morning, with showery outbreaks across the area.
After days where temperatures were up in the high teens, today’s max of 11oC will feel much colder.
And the Met Office has said we should expect the cold snap to last throughout the week.
As it continues to get colder, there will be outbreaks of rain potentially turning to snow overnight on Wednesday into Thursday, when temperatures will hit a high of just 6o.
It’s set to get windy on Thursday too and then temperatures remain low, in single figures, with widespread frosts overnight as we end the week
