Dog of the Week: The latest dogs looking for their forever homes from Newbury Dogs Trust

Dogs Trust Newbury has a number of dogs at its Hamstead Marshall base who need a new home.

And every Sunday we have been shining a spotlight on one of them to try to help spread the word.

Nationwide, the charity currently has 722 dogs that are looking for a family to join.

Today we have beautiful Bailey to introduce you to.

Bailey is a four-year-old typical beagle who always has his nose to the ground.

He enjoys long sniffy walks and would suit an active home where he could possibly enjoy some scent work.

Dogs Trust said Bailey can be a bit protective of his food, so will need his own space at mealtimes.

But he loves to play with other dogs and could live with one, but not with cats or other small animals.

He also really loves to chase a tennis ball!
