Dog of the Week: The latest dogs looking for their forever homes from Newbury Dogs Trust
Welcome to the second week of our new online feature highlighting some of the dogs waiting for their forever home.
Dogs Trust Newbury has a number of dogs at its Hamstead Marshall base who need a new home.
Nationwide, the charity currently has 757 dogs that are looking for a family to join.
You can find out more about adopting a dog by visiting the charity’s website.
And each Sunday we will feature one of the dogs looking for a new home in West Berkshire.
This week we’ve got Blaze to tell you about.
Blaze is a 2-5 year old male Labrador who is looking for a family happy to take him on long walks to let him explore.
He loves other dogs so will be able to live with another dog pending a successful dog mix, or have lots of dog walking friends.
He has lots of energy so ideally would like an active household to go to – he can live with children. He does struggle with being left, so minimal leaving hours would be preferred.

He loves all treats and having a good run around and like spending time with people who want to interact and make a fuss of him.
He will need ongoing medical care.
