Dog of the Week: The latest dogs looking for their forever homes from Newbury Dogs Trust
Dogs Trust Newbury has a number of dogs at its Hamstead Marshall base who need a new home.
And every Sunday we have been shining a spotlight on one of them to try to help spread the word.
Nationwide, the charity currently has 779 dogs that are looking for a family to join.
You can find out more about adopting a dog by visiting the charity’s website.
Today we have gorgeous Max to tell you about.
Max is a “sweet and sensitive” two-year-old crossbreed, who needs a loving home to help boost his confidence.
Max needs patient adopters who are willing to take things at his own pace, said the trust, but once Max comes out of his shell, “he is a sweet and loving boy who will make the best companion”.
He will need a family who are happy to continue his training, which is close to the rehoming centre because currently Max is not a fan of car travel!
He couldn’t live with other small pets, but could be happy in a home with another dog and with older children, who could cope with his size.
Contact the centre today if you think you have the perfect home for this “sweet and sensitive” boy.
