Council approves new recreational area at The Willink School, in Burghfield Common




A school has applied to create a new recreational area for its students.

And West Berkshire Council has now approved the plans for the area at The Willink School, in Burghfield Common.

The new area, which will include picnic tables, aims to provide an outdoor extension to the school canteen.

The free-standing steelwork structure will include guttering and downpipes, lighting, a power supply and data points.

It will also require digging into the ground for structural foundation construction.

Sulhamstead and Burghfield Parish Councils voiced no objections to the application.

The contractor will be responsible for removal of all waste from the site.
