Council approves new Pangbourne Youth Football Club storage facility

West Berkshire Council has approved a new storage facility for a youth football club.

The council approved an application by Pangbourne Parish Council on Friday, October 27, to provide a new storage facility for Pangbourne Youth Football Club.

A dark green shipping container will be positioned on an unused area of grass on the perimeter of the Recreation Ground, between the tennis courts and a small copse of trees.

The youth teams use the football pitches on the Recreation Ground for regular training sessions and matches and their expansion over the last few years means they are now in need of somewhere on site to store their footballs and other training equipment.

The container will be partially screened by the trees and tennis courts to minimise the visual impact.

The container will be delivered to the site using a crane lorry and positioned using a telehandler and can be removed in future if no longer required.
