Greenham Parish Council donates £15k for Greenham Control Tower development

Greenham Parish Council has donated £15,000 to fund a development at Greenham Control Tower.

A motion was passed unanimously at a full council meeting held on November 9 to improve the grounds surrounding the control tower.

Tower representative Nigel Manley said: "Greenham Control Tower is thrilled to receive this support from Greenham Parish Council for the improvement of the grounds surrounding the tower.

"Since fully opening post-Covid, we have seen a steady increase in the number of visitors.

"We are sure that the improvement to the grounds, which will include the removal of brambles and relaying paths, will enhance the appeal of the tower as a heritage centre."
