Court alcohol ban for Daniel French from Burghfield Common
A man has been ordered to abstain from alcohol for causing criminal damage.
Daniel French appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, September 9.
The 37-year-old, of Barbour Drive, Burghfield Common, admitted destroying a garden gate in the Reading postal area on August 22.
French, who was legally represented by Paul Cantrill, was made subject to a 12 month community order with an alcohol abstinence requirement.
Under the requirement, French will be required to abstain from alcohol for 30 days.
Compliance with the ban will be checked electronically using a device which continuously monitors for the presence of alcohol.
There was no order for costs but French was required to pay £78.50 compensation in lieu of an otherwise statutory victim services surcharge.
