Antisocial behaviour closure order for home in North View, Hungerford

POLICE have successfully applied for a closure order on a town home.

The application was made to Reading magistrates in respect of 16 North View in Hungerford, by Thames Valley Police.

No occupant of the property attended the hearing on Thursday, July 17.

However, an officer assured the court that notice of that day’s application hearing had been served at the property the day before.

The order was made under Section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

Magistrates duly granted the closure order for three months.

Police successfully applied for a similar order (pictured) in respect of a nearby property in 2022.
