Covid at Douai Abbey forces New Year's Eve concert to move to London

The traditional New Year's Eve concert at Douai Abbey that was to be given this year by the Rodolfus Choir has had to be moved.

There are three cases of Covid in the monastic community and have they therefore imposed a limited lockdown on themselves for everyone's safety.

Fr Oliver Holt said: "Providentially the choir have found an alternative venue which is St Gabriel's Church, Warwick Square, Pimlico, London SW1V 2AD. The concert will be on the same day, December 31, but at 2pm, not 3pm as it would have been at Douai.

"Those of you who had booked tickets should be contacted by the choir and you will be offered a refund if you cannot be in London."
