A34 now cleared: Crash shut one lane of A34 between the M4 at Chieveley and the A4185 at Chilton

UPDATE: 11am - This incident has now cleared.

9.30am - A crash is causing delays of nearly an hour on part of the A34 this morning (Tuesday).

The incident has shut one lane, northbound, between the M4 at Chieveley and the junction with the A4185 at the Chilton interchange.

National Highways said its traffic officers were at the scene dealing with the incident, but there was already four miles of congestion on the approach to the crash.

The road is not expected to be cleared until around 10.45am.
