A339 closed at Kingsclere due to two-vehicle crash
UPDATE: 7.30pm – The A339 at Kingsclere has now reopened.
It was closed for most of the day after a crash just before 8.30am.
Police said that two cars were involved and serious injuries were reported.
UPDATE: 2.55pm – A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that serious injuries have been reported at the scene.
"We were called at 8.20am today to a report of a road traffic collision on the A339 Kingsclere bypass," she said.
"This involved two cars and serious injuries have been reported."
Emergency services remain at the scene and the road remains closed.
UPDATE: 1pm – The road remains closed this afternoon.
The A339 is currently closed at Kingsclere due to a crash.
Heavy traffic is building up in the area after the crash involving two cars.
The road is closed in both directions between Basingstoke Road and the B3051 George Street.
