A34 crash closed one lane between Tot Hill services and the A343 at Wash Water this morning - all lanes now open

UPDATE: This incident has now been cleared and all lanes have reopened.

One lane on the A34 near Newbury is blocked after a crash this morning (Friday).

The crash happened on the northbound carriageway near the exit for the A343 at Wash Water.

Traffic is now heavy throughout the area, backing up past the Tot Hill turn off.

National Highways said it expects the road to be cleared by around 10am.
