A339 closed at Bishops Green after early morning crash

UPDATE: This road has now reopened.

A crash has closed a major West Berkshire road this morning (Tuesday).

The A339 is currently shut in both directions at Bishops Green.

The incident happened before 8am today and the AA has said that the road remains closed at this time.

Traffic is queuing in both directions, between the B4640 and Thornford Road, close to Greenham Business Park.

The crash is also causing long delays on other roads around Newbury and Thatcham this morning.
