West Berkshire Crematorium holding open day

West Berkshire Crematorium is opening its doors to all on Monday, September 18.

People will be able to explore the peaceful site in a tour and a walk through the landscaped memorial gardens in Thatcham.

The crematorium team will be around to talk to visitors, explain what they do and the care that they provide.

West Berkshire Crematorium manager Stephanie Langford said: “Our open day offers an opportunity for anyone to come and visit our beautiful site and ask any questions they might have, in an informal setting, about what we do here and the support we provide to bereaved families.

“It’s a chance for people to find out about the wide range of farewell services we offer, the exceptional care we provide, and the ways in which we work with families to provide services which are uniquely personal to their loved one.

“No appointment is necessary for the open day, and we very much look forward to welcoming local families to our lovely grounds.”
