'Crusaders' boost cancer charity coffers

The presentation was made at the club’s Bulpit Lane grounds by club director of sport Nigel Warrick, manager Bobby Wilkinson and team members.
More than 60 people attended the club’s charity Christmas quiz, raffle and auction, and club marketing manager Emma Holland said: “We had many local companies offer their support in prize donations and these included Adam Hillier Photography, Nuffield Health, Newbury Racecourse, Reading Football Club, Roy and Tom Hill Builders of Thatcham and NJW Limited.
“We were lucky enough to have been donated a signed Reading Football Club shirt by the current team which was auctioned off. I’m over the moon with the generosity - it completely exceed my expectations and I can only thank everyone for coming, and a massive thank you to everyone who helped behind the scenes”
