THE third annual Cultrefest has come to an end.
Organised by West Berkshire Minority Ethnic Forum, the event aimed to bring together different cultures and people through a variety of activities, entertainment and food.
During the event, which was held at Newbury Racecourse, people were able to see performances including Thai Dancers, Indian Dhol Players, Egyptian Belly Dancers and a Chinese Lion Dance.
They were also able to browse stalls including Indian clothing and jewellery, Chinese art and Henna art.
Jackie Stokes, who was at the event with her three-year-old daughter, Freda Goddard-Stokes, said that she was at the event to expose her daughter to different cultures and religions.
She said: “The event brings awareness to everybody.
“It has been a good day and the weather has made it nice as well.”
