THERE are four new cute, but very hairy faces at Beale Park wildlife park.
Staff and visitors to the West Berkshire wildlife park and gardens welcomed a group of KuneKune pigs this week.
The KuneKune is a very distinctive, small breed of domestic pig that originates from New Zealand.
Hairy and of dumpy build, the KuneKune are very placid, much like the pot-bellied pig, are now often kept as pets.
The Lower Basildon park’s newest occupants have taken up residence in the wildflower meadow and are busy making themselves at home amongst the plants which, co-incidentally, share the pig’s names: Thistle, Daisy, Clover and Flora.
