Cycling encouraged at this year's Open Studios programme

The scheme was launched at this year's Insight Event at New Greenham Arts on Friday, May 4.
The Open Studios scheme will run across the district during this month and more than 120 artists are ready to receive visitors in their studios, workshops and at local exhibitions.
Open Studio will be exploring the Olympic theme with more than 100 artists contributing to a major work entitled ‘Olympic Spirit’.
West Berkshire councillor for culture and leisure, Hilary Cole (Con, Chieveley), said: “With the Olympic theme in mind, cycling to the studio is the perfect way to combine activity and art.
“The council's cycle routes offer a great day out for all the family with great refreshment stops marked along the way."
