Cycling festival comes to West Berkshire

The Tour of Berkshire starts in earnest at the Arlington Business Park in Theale at 10am until 4pm and will move on to different locations across the county on every day of the festival.
On offer are cycling challenges and instruction from cycling expert Dr Bike on cycle safety, mechanics and suggested routes. There will also be guided rides, a performance from M.A.D. Mountain Bike Display Team and prizes to be won for each of the biking challenges held on each day.
A short and long guided bike ride will also take place during the day and all are welcome to join at 11am and 1pm respectively.
Cycling is increasingly popular in Berkshire and cycling rates are above the national average. In West Berkshire more than one in ten people cycle at least once per month.
