Cyclist in hospital with serious head injuries following Andover Road crash on Friday

A spokeswoman for the South Central Ambulance Service, Catherine Morrow, said that they sent two ambulances, a land ambulance and an air ambulance following reports of an RTC between a car and a push bike.
The services of the air ambulance were not required and instead the cyclist was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital by land ambulance with the helimed doctor on board giving treatment.
Several people took to social media to express their concerns following the incident.
One person who drove past the incident tweeted: "There was items of clothing laying on the road right in front of a car."
